Instruction for full papers

The presenting author should submit the full paper on line.

Deadline for full papers is 4th May 2014.

Full papers will be distributed on flash disk to all participants upon registration.

The full paper  should be submitted in Word format or Open office document through the EU-NORM 2 website. Receipt of your full text will be confirmed by e-mail.

The full paper should not exceed 10 pages A4 format.  Authors are kindly asked to strictly follow the template.

The maximum size of the enclosed abstract is 9 megabytes. Authors are responsible for the professional and grammatical correctness of the text.

Instruction for abstracts

Please use this document as the template to your abstract. The abstract should be submitted in Word format or Open Office document through the EUNORM2014 website. The deadline for abstract submission is April 1st, 2014. Received abstracts will be reviewed by Steering Committee and authors will be notified in January 2014 whether their papers have been accepted by Steering Committee for oral presentation or for poster.

Abstracts should not exceed 2000 characters spaces included. Use a single-spaced one-column format. Use A4 page set-up and make all margins (top, bottom, left, right) 20 mm wide. Start typing text about 7 cm from the top of the page.

Use 10 pt Times New Roman font except for the title which should be in 12 pt bold  (see Table 1). Centre the title, the authors' names, the addresses, contact email address and keywords.

 A maximum of four keywords is allowed.

Start each paragraph, except the first, with an indent. Justify the body of the text both left and right. Do not use page numbers. Figures and Tables can be only in black and white. Ensure that Figures and Tables have a caption, and that they are numbered consecutively. Try to avoid vertical lines in Tables.

References are listed at the end of the abstract. They should be referred to in the text by numbers in square brackets in the manner demonstrated below:

[1] normal article, [2] article in proceedings.

Leave a blank line above the list of references, and also above the acknowledgements.

[1] Author, A., Author, B., Corresponding, C., (year). Title of the article. Journal, Number or Volume, pages.

Publication of proceedings

 Participants will be provided with a Book of Abstracts and Programme at the time of the Symposium. The full papers will be prepared on a CD-ROM/USB stick and given to each registered participant at the time of the symposium.

The presentations will be published also on the EU NORM2 website. The presenter/authors will be asked for agreement with publication of their presentation online.
